In this video, we take on the task of restoring a poorly done garage floor coating completed by another contractor and replacing it with a long lasting, custom two tone finish.
Not all contractors go through the proper steps to ensure your new coating is done right from start to finish. The end result turns out to be less than desirable and won’t last nearly as long as it should; costing you more time and money than if it were done right in the first place. We start by preparing the surface, which includes routing out cracks and spalls and filling them with a rapid curing polymer. Then we “profile” the area using a diamond grinder and thoroughly clean the surface with our high-efficiency vacuum so we can apply our coating. Once we apply our moisture mitigating primer, we’ll add a full broadcast of decorative chips into the coating. After sufficient cure time, it’s finished with a clear polyurea topcoat. We offer a large number of colors and textures to choose from.
